Update to 0.4, 0.3z masterlist will be shut down!

Great news guys and gals, VC:MP's 0.3 masterlist will finally be shut down on the 1st of May, so quickly start updating to VC:MP 0.4, it's better than 0.3 in every way! And it also has an active dev team so any bugs that may appear will be handled, unlike the bugs we've had in 0.3z for so many years. Take a look at the official topic on the new VC:MP forums. Server owners, don't forget to start moving your servers to 0.4 and take this chance now while there's few 0.4 servers to make your server popular

It's normal for vcmp to be inactive by now, we've been playing the same version for 8 years, there's nothing new anymore...and vcmp is not completely inactive look at this chart by Thijn that shows the the player count for 0.3. My point with this topic was to warn as many people as possible that 0.3 is going to die soon so they can make the change to 0.4.

Just like a little conversation I'd start with my old clan mates.

I would like to know what you guys expect with this new version, I personally don't think a new version will open the minds of the old players, It's not going to attract other people, I have nothing against people that still playing this, but I've wondered sometimes if that people play this games because they really "like" this game or maybe they can't try something else, much more interesting and fun.

In particular, I would like to know the opinion of the oldest members of this clan, especially you, NewK as we have known for years and the only people who know me are actually veterans of this clan, I think they will be the only ones who know what I mean.

In some cases yes, some people just play because they can't play anything else but look at SA:MP, SA is almost as old as vice city and it still has thousands of players, it just goes to prove that a good and solid community with a good mod can achieve popularity, and finally, we now have a real chance at that too with the new version.

For me, just the single fact that we have an active dev team is more than enough. New features and all that is awesome of course, but overall, most people are failing to see the point here, most people forget what's really important, and that is: active developers. People are getting all riled up because of features and because 0.4 doesn't have X or Y or Z or whatever it is that they want it to have, but that's the least important thing right now  because additional features can be added, bugs can be fixed and glitches can be prevented. With 0.3 we had none of that. When a glitch or bug was found in 0.3, we had to live with it, there was nothing we could do about it, now it's not the case anymore, we now have proper progress being made everyday, and that's amazing. For example, just yesterday a new update was released with new features and bugfixes.

Ever since I started playing this mod, progress has never been this good. Things are better than they've ever been, some of the players who've been playing for 3, 4, 5 years or something may not notice, but the real old players who have been playing longer will notice this and give it proper value.

I can play Black Ops II, Modern Warfare 3, Ghosts and Battlefield 3 and i'm still playing vc-mp... heck i can even run both modern warfare 3 and gta-vc without problems
