Departure / End of an era
« Last post by Spiller on February 08, 2025, 04:25:35 pm »It has been a great 4 years here in the clan and its sad to see them come to an end. It took me a considerable amount of convincement to join this clan, but looking back, I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I ever made.
I met so many amazing people, made some new friends and got closer to people I already knew, forged bonds that went beyond just playing together. We shared so many laughs, so many wins (and yeah, all the times we got mauled over too), and created memories I know I'll cherish for a long time. I'm truly grateful for all the opportunities I was given here, and I especially want to thank MK and the leadership for their trust and support.
I have been as distant as possible from the game and I have no plans to return in near future. I had plans to leave earlier but decided to stay because it did not bother me if I'm completely inactive. However, things have changed since and a lot of my friends are gone in recent times, so I've finally decided to leave since I can no longer see things the way I could earlier. My leaving can at least open up some spots for people who are still actively enjoying the game. And yeah about the discord, I'd like to apologize for leaving abruptly like that, I should have said something. I left merely because of the notifications and nothing personal.
I know my departure may come as a surprise, even to myself - I thought I'd be here for thick and thin, but there are bigger reasons at work. I do not want to dwell on any of it because 99% of my time here has been flawless and there's no other way I'd like to remember it. I wouldn't change a thing even if I could.
I may create a private clan and sit there so no invites me elsewhere, but I have no plans to join any clan in the foreseeable future. I'll still be around, though, so please, keep in touch. I'm going to miss you all.
