Alright so I updated the forum as you might have noticed. Here are the changes:
- The forum theme has been replaced by a new lighter theme.
- The main site page has also been updated to match the theme on the forum.
- The forum was updated to the latest SMF version
- The forum is now making use of the Database on http://www.stopforumspam.com/ to prevent the registration of bots, spammers and malicious users. It'll block IP's, usernames and emails that are blacklisted on the database of http://www.stopforumspam.com/.
- A live chat has been added similar facebook's chat as you can see on the bottom (pink bar). You'll be able to talk to anyone who is online at the moment no matter on what page of the forum you are. If you don't want for every user who is online to be able to talk to you, there's also an option to use a "Friends" system so that you'll only receive messages from the members on your Friends List. I can post a guide later on how to do this if you can't find the option.

Edit: I'd recommend not using white text on posts, I've edited some recent post that had white text and changed it to black like Zatch's app, because the background is almost white aswell so it's hard to read :p

There was things I also didn't like about the old theme. It's impossible to please everyone....
And about being bright, I wasn't the only one asking for a ligher theme, Hans said the same thing about the old theme being too dark and gloomy, which I have to agree.
And the chat bar is still bugged, I've disabled it for a reason. The bug is that the chat windows are not updating. So if someone talks to you, you won't get any notification and you won't see their message unless you minimize the window and open it again. THe same happens if you send a message to them, it will not appear in the window unless you minimize it and open it again.

its not about bright or dark which I am talking about, this theme actually looks like a grey page with some text...it looks incomplete...
in previous theme we had purple/pink bars...here we just have lines...it just looks too blank....
and the logo...I dont know why you changed it, it seemed much perfect as compared to the newer one

This theme has a grey background so of course it looks like a grey page with text . While the other theme had a black background which looked like a black page and some text. Same thing, only thing that changes is the background. Although if you want we can change the line that separates the replies from black to purple/pink, but imo it's doesn't look that good, we can try it though if you like. It's also possible to change the lines into bars.
About the logo, I also like this one better, since it looks a little less serious and brighter. There was also people who didn't like the old logo before and there will be people who won't like this one too, like I said, can't please everyone. But overall, the point of this theme was to make the forum cleaner, simpler and less cluttered while also making it ligher and less depressing. Imo this theme makes the forum look tidier.

That's your opinion, there's also people that like this logo better than the old one and like the old theme better than the new one. It impossible to please +40 members at once. There is no wrong or right on this. Just different opinions.

why not have a poll? :P instead of just using this blank theme? :P even i can say that you should revert back to that because some people dont like this also and like that more :D
maybe let the members give ideas on some new theme :P let them link us to a new themes and we will see it and whichever theme gets most votes gets chosen...
we should have a theme which atleast all clan leaders or majority of clan leaders like and then it should come to members...previous theme was liked by me and you and everyone i can see...but this one...well i dont like it...not talking about dark and light here...but its just tooooo blank...its not clean...its empty....its like all the furniture has been removed from the room and then calling the room tidy and clean :D

We should have a little icon/bar in the bottom of the page which you can switch the forum theme to grey/dark...etc.

And you should not say that everyone liked the old theme because you can't know that for sure, X_94 for example mentioned that he like this new theme more but disliked the logo. So like I said it's hard to get people to like every single thing about the theme, there's always going to be things they don't like. And why do you say things have been removed, which things? it's still all here, just looks cleaner and not so dark.

that was your choice that you didnt say anything about it, I always had asked you for your opinion regarding things...if you didnt tell me something, how would i know it...it was your choice that you didnt ask me to change some stuff but accept it anyways and it isnt that if you arent doing it then i also shouldnt.
And about the blank thing on this theme well you can have a look around at various themes, be it something simple like the default theme or some too hi fi theme....they all have a feel of being complete and can be used at suitable situation...but this its totally blank and almost makes me feel the forum images are still loading.... plus the colours really hurt my eyes, previously it was just those names, ranks and all those bright colours but now even these quotes in posts kinda hurt my eyes...
anyways here are some themes i selected, they are bright and i guess you can change their red/orange/blue/etc etc colour to purple/pink...they are well bright and look so complete.... use any of them and i wont utter a word ;)

lol FaF I always told you about what I didn't like on xfire. I told you that I didn't like the membergroup pictures because they were too big, I told you that I didn't like that the bars had that pointy style, I told you that I would prefered if the logo shield had that white border all around it instead of just the part that didn't have that palm tree. I told you all of that and more. But you choosed to do it your way and that's fine I respected that because you were the one who had all the work creating it.
I'm going to do what Hans suggested, it's the best thing to do. I'm going to add an option for people to change back to the old theme if they want to. Although some things are not going to be possible to change individually for each theme, like the board thumbnails, etc..

It's fine now I added the option to change back to the old theme, so everyone can change it back if they don't like the new one.
For the people that want to use the old theme instead go to:
Profile--->Look and Layout--->Current Theme(Change)----> Choose Miami Killers Dark theme
Remember though like I said some things will be the same as they are on this theme since it's not possible to change them individually for each theme.

The bottom Chat bar has now been re-activated and is free of bugs :) hopefully...
For the people using google chrome: If you can't see the bar press Ctrl +F5 to fully refresh the page/site.
