your just a dickhead bro
« on: April 27, 2017, 09:06:35 pm »

once again, Mr. Raiden has proved himself as the biggest shithead on history

Honestly, I never though I'd to this, at least not this way, but this is my leaving note. I really can't stay in a clan where one of it's members dislikes me to death and sees me as an enemy and not as his partner, which is what I am, or at least, used to be. I won't take any more bullshit from this so called 'pro player'. I'm really sorry for leaving this clan, because some of my pals are here and I had an actual great time with them, and I want to thank all of you for giving me a chance and accepting me in here, really man, it was a  damn great stay.

Goodbye guys, once again thanks for everything, Luv ya  :-*

So should I laugh upon radien or feel bad for zed ?
Being inactive from a 2002 game ain't no crime lmfao. I sense too much hate.

If that *clan is everything in your life* mentality was set by faf, then I should  scam his DotA account xD

Goodluck

Hey Zed, I haven't been very active lately but I'm going to tell you what are my views on the current "clan system" in VC:MP, and if you still want to leave, I'm okay with that.

When I first started playing VCMP, I wanted to be in clans with the good players, the "skilled" ones. But as the years passed I  realized VC:MP is just not a viable competitive game, let's face it, this is an unofficial mod with many issues that make it impossible to play 100% fair in a competitive environment. I'm not going to mention all these issues because I'd need to write a whole book based on that subject alone. But yea, as I said, not viable as a competitive game, so this idea of wanting to be in clans with only the "skilled" players, stopped making any sense to me, so I just chose to pick a clan not based on "skills", but based on the people I  liked hanging out with ingame and the people I liked talking to on a regular daily basis. The way I see it, "skills" eventually fade away as you lose interest in the game, but the friends you make don't, so I made sure to stay around the people I like talking to and playing with instead of those I "deem" skilled or even active. To this day, I still talk to people that I met on VC:MP nearly 10 years ago, be that on steam, irc, skype, etc...

So to me, a clan is just simply a group of people that like hanging out ingame and like talking to eachother, and I don't think it should be anything more than that, not in a game like VC:MP, a game that isn't competitively viable. Competition is good to VC:MP of course, it makes sure that the game stays alive, but to me it's just that and nothing more, I never really made a decision to join a clan based on that.

That said, only active members get promoted, but I certainly don't blame anyone for losing interest in a game released in 2002. If you're in a clan but you're no longer interested in playing the game, there's nothing wrong with staying if you like the people in it. So if you're making this decision based on your inactivity, there's really no reason to leave, no one is forced to play or compete if they don't want to. If you're making this decision just because of your argument with Raiden, I also don't see why would that lead to leaving. I've had way worse discussions with members of this clan over the years and I never saw leaving as an option, there's always fights and disagreements but we learned to compromise when we need to. So are you sure this is what you want to do ?

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, same Zed having, he don't want cheaters in clan so he voted no,what Raiden did is utter bullshit as well as kiddish, after reading the above conversation, I only feel sad about Zed and yeah as Shawn said, laugh at the stupidity and frustration of Raiden, it was always that he used to behave like this, now he's showing his true colors, nothing to say more, good luck Zed!

Guys, don't lock this. I asked Zed a question, let him reply. I'd prefer if he stayed, but in the end it's his choice alone. All I can say is that a simple discussion like this should not be a strong enough reason to leave. Like I said, there's been way worse dicussions in this clan before, people arguing about eachothers' religions, family, politics and so on.... but I never noticed any real/true hate, just people having a bad day who make up in the end. Leaving because member "A" called me "B" is just silly. Plus, Raiden is willing to apologize for his mistakes, so why keep this going?

@Karan and @Shawn, this is posted on a public board so you're of course free to reply, but if you come here with the sole intent of insulting, don't bother posting because you're not helping at all. So let this be a warning, any further insults directed at any of our clan members and your posting priviledges will be temporarily removed.

Alright, I'd like to clear some things out:

I'm not leaving because I was having a bad day and the 'argument' with Raiden was just the straw that broke the camel's back. I'm leaving because, as I told him to Blurry in a private discussion, I don't want to have anything to do with Raiden anymore. I don't even want my nickname to appear in the same page as his. I don't like him, I don't have a single bit of respect for him nor for his stupid and senseless attitude. And since we both feel the same way about each other, I don't see any reason to still be 'clan mates'.

I don't want Raiden to apologize either, because I don't like dishonest and forced apologies. Also, I'm not interested in anything he has to say about this whole thing.

I believe that reply on the shoutbox was not directed at you, but at the insults directed at him. Nonetheless, I've talked with Raiden, and I believe he's learned a lesson from all of this, and I expect an improvement of his attitude in the future.

It's unfortunate to see you go Zed, whenever there's discussions between members, there's always ways to solve them, but both members need to be willing to solve their issues and move forward, and I can see that is not the case here.

I won't bother you any longer though, you've made your decision. See you around and good luck in future endeavors.
